Jayme Williams
Jayme began dancing at the age of four and hasn't stopped since. She began
at a small studio in Clairemont, then went forward and trained with Louis
Mckay at North County Dance Arts. She grew up in the competition scene for
years, earning top awards for groups and soloist routines. She graduated
high school from San Diego School of Creative and Performing arts in 1998
where she danced every day and earned "The Fred Astaire" award or the
entire school. Jayme has taught at several studios in San Diego over the
past ten years earning top choreography awards at various competitions.
She has performed with groups such as Unity, Stomp-the Crew, Fusion Force,
and all over California and Florida including two Superbowls, and
SeaWorld Summer and Halloween nights. She also appeared in the movie
"Bring it on". She has danced for Cypress Hill in Las Vegas and was a
dancer for the radio station Z90. She performed in the televised Teacher
of the year awards as well as a dance series "Dancin and Prancin". She has
danced professionally for over 10 years. Jayme has been in the production
casts dancing on two Royal Caribbean ships including the Jewel of the Seas
and the Empress of the seas touring the Caribbean and Europe the past two
years.
Teaching and sharing her passion for dance with her students is one of her favorite things in the world. She thanks all of her teachers and her parents for sending her to her first lesson. Jayme is so thrilled to be joined with the Dance Unlimited Family and is looking forward to working with everyone this year!!
