Danielle Dupre
Danielle began dancing at the age of 2 ½ at Studio C in Carlsbad.
Beginning in 1988, and for the next 11 years, she trained at Dance
Unlimited, under the instruction and direction of Erin Riley-Carrasco,
studying extensively in tap, ballet, jazz, hip-hop, clogging and lyrical
dance disciplines. She was an original member of D.U.’s 1st Competition
Team, consistently earning top honors and 1st overall awards as a soloist
& team performer in many regional & national dance & talent competitions.
During the 1990’s, she continued her dance training at various dance
studios throughout the San Diego area, competing and participating in
numerous conventions and master classes in San Diego, L.A. and Las Vegas.
In Junior High, Danielle participated as a dancer in numerous plays as a
member of CYT. While attending Carlsbad High School, she was a 4 year
member and 2 year Dance Captain of Carlsbad’s Lancer Dancers, who, for the
1st time, became the National Dance Champions for 2 consecutive years.
As a competition instructor at Studio West in San Diego, Danielle’s numbers have earned consistent top awards in choreography, technique, entertainment and overall honors. Her national rankings and creative choreography, both as a dancer and an instructor, have made her a sought-out dance teacher and guest instructor in the San Diego area. Danielle enjoys sharing her love of dance with children of all ages, and teaches master classes and dance intensives to hundreds of dance students throughout the San Diego area. She has coached cheer at Mt. Carmel High School and has also worked with the national ranked dance team at Poway High School. She continues her dance education and training by attending conventions and weekly dance classes, and is currently a member of the UNITY Dance Ensemble, directed by Tessandra Chavez. Danielle just recently returned to her alma mater, Carlsbad High School, accepting the prestigious job as Head Coach of the Lancer Dancers. She is thrilled to be returning to her 1st dance studio and dance family, Dance Unlimited, and to be continuing their 20 year tradition of excellent dance training. She looks forward to instructing & inspiring all of Dance Unlimited’s recreational and competitive dancers throughout the coming years...
