Our Instructors teach a traditional Ballet class that starts with the barre, moves to center floor, adagio and across the floor combinations. Classes focus on proper technique, placement, balance, flexibility and presentation.

Standard jazz technique is emphasized including extensions, elevations, control and turns. A warm up is always conducted at the beginning of each class. Across the floor technique, center floor combinations and jazz routines are incorporated into each class.

Our lyrical classes focus on the interpretation of the lyrics, mood and content of the music. A contemporary modern style is presented and importance placed on control, balance, extension and isolations. A mixture of jazz and ballet technique is emphasized.

Precise tap rhythms, technique and combinations ranging from noise/funk styles to Broadway and West Coast styles are included in Dance Unlimited’s award winning tap program.

Our studio offers the largest hip-hop program in all of North County !!! These classes feature a street style form of jazz and funk. Popping, locking and break dancing are incorporated into this hip-hop style.

Our Clogging classes focus on the authentic and distinctive form of american folk dance. The three main characteristics emphasized are.
• loud, fast footwork with steel plates or taps on the shoes;
• fairly rigid torso
• an up and down knee motion
